I didn't heed the warning. I should have known.

It is assumed that the wave action causing the sand ripple on a beach has similar patterns today and in the past.

I said nothing. The whole time I said nothing. Just let him rail. With a babe in arms I was, weeping, in the open.

Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside I do like to be beside the sea!
I do like to stroll upon the Prom, Prom, Prom!
Where the brass bands play:
"Tiddely-om-pom-pom!"
So just let me be beside the seaside
I'll be beside myself with glee
And there's lots of girls beside,
I should like to be beside
Beside the seaside!
Beside the sea!

Honeymoon
I traced the coast of Cornwall holding hands with a dead man.

He swam in the shallows as I walked in faux sunshine, happy to trip under heavy skies in pale blue deception.

Miles walked in flip flops, magic slippers that made the quietest evening alive with purpose- to get from A to B with the sea always in sight.

When the Sun and Moon are aligned on the same side as the Earth, the tides they cause - which are stronger than usual since they are pulling together -are called Spring tides. Conversely, when the Sun and the Moon are at right angles to each other and are pulling in opposite directions, tides are weaker and are called neap tides.
